Nova publikacija: UNICEF je ravnokar (januar 2009) izdal študijo, v kateri se loteva vrednotenja javnih politik z državne ravni. Vrednotenje vplivov politik so bile doslej najveckrat povezane s presojami projektov, programov in politik, pricujoca publikacija pa stori korak naprej v smeri vrednotenja na še višji ravni splošnosti. Ko presoje razvojnih trendov postajajo splošnejše se tudi vse bolj nanašajo na splošne ‘potrebe sistema’ in manj na konkretne ‘uporabnike’ ali ‘sektorje’. To je pomemben korak, ki olajšuje celovitost presoj – torej njihovo ustreznost tako s stališca celote kot njenih posameznih delov ali problemskih sklopov (enotnost v razlicnosti).
